Specialised Welded Fabrications
As well as weld repair work, Abbfab Services can undertake the fabrication and welding of a variety of specialised fabrications, usually components supplied by the client to be assembled and fully welded, using approved procedures, by Abbfab Services.
These fabrications may include such items as:
- Pump casings.
- Compressor casings.
- Body and flange assemblies (usually flanges to cast valve bodies). Probe assemblies.
All the above work is undertaken using qualified weld procedures and non-destructive examination to either clients requirements or design code stipulation.
Filter Body Case Study
We fabricated three filter bodies from carbon steel and that the fabrication was to the intent of the ASME VIII Div. 1 boiler and pressure vessel code.
